Praise God it’s just for a season!
Many in this room have felt those harsh feelings & some of you are likely in that season now.
Some of our seasons can last for hours, days, months, or even years.
Point being…all of us have had a season of life with our God that was a challenge & it is our season of life…no one else’s but our own
Today we get to be in Psalm 22…where yet again David is the writer but Jesus is the speaker
This is what we call a messianic psalm…we know Jesus is the Messiah…the anointed one sent to save us from our sin.
David in writing Psalm 22 under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit; is prophesying about Jesus who wont arrive on scene for several hundred years.
David describes some scenes in Psalm 22 that he could never know about but the Spirit knowing what is coming gave it to David to write.
