Passage: John 9:1-12

Speaker: jeff blaine

IF you have a pulse & are breathing that means you are alive & you have received poor remarks from a stupid person
If you have a pulse & are breathing that means you are alive & you have made poor remarks because at the time you were being a stupid person.
Now before you get offended & walk out today…let’s understand the biblical definition of stupid.
One who loves instruction loves knowledge,
But one who hates correction is stupid. Proverbs 12:1
How many times over years have you felt the sting of a correction from someone & said something you regretted?
When we refuse to take correction or reproof or a rebuke from someone we often times says something stupid
truth is truth no matter who is dishing it out
Some dish it out with a bowlful of cherries others with a bowl of pits…point being: correction bound in truth is still the best correction
Today we are going to observe people making poor remarks…
Our hope is that as we see these people make poor remarks we get to learn how to help them not become stupid…
What is the biblical definition of stupid?
People who refuse correction.
