Too long in the sun what happens? A sunburn Too long in the cold what happens? frostbite If the timing of your heart is off just for a few seconds what happens? Blood clots, stroke, Tia, or even death If you don't blink your eyes In a timely fashion what happens?
How did you get here today? Timing mattered. If you fail to eat food in a timely manner what happens? If you failed in the timing of putting 1 foot in front of the other what happens?
These are just a few of the things that we take for granted in needing timeliness every day.
Admittedly, we all have a hard time trusting God in being timely
There is a fascinating scripture in Romans 5: 6 For a while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
At what time did Christ die for the ungodly? The right time
I believe from this one verse you and I can extrapolate a thought and this thought is: God's timing is always right…all the time.
Think about this for a moment if you submit to God by trusting His timing in all things how much of your anxiety about life would decrease?
If you submit to God by trusting His timing in all things how would that ease the way you currently think in daily life?
If you submit to God by trusting His timing in all things how would that ease the pressure you place on the relationships around you to operate in the timeframe that you want?
I believe all of us need to learn to trust God in His timing in all things
