What does it mean to be a 4G Christian? I think King David may have had a cell phone.
In today's Psalm 139 David gives us 4G's that connects us with God.
I think David had a cell phone?
You may have noticed over the years our cell phones have changed.
First generation cell phones are in the 1980s that was just simply talking mobile to mobile
Second generation or 2G was in the 1990s and that let us send SMS messages and let us roam about the country using our phones.
3G or third generation mobile networks allowed us to have a mobile Internet experience where we could start using the Internet over our phones.
4G or 4th generation has brought us fast Internet & Increased the use of apps
4G is the same as LTE which stands for long term evolution.
Cell phones have been evolving in their abilities hence the name long term evolution.
If you are a smartphone user you have noticed that LTE is even available in our small county.
From an EMS standpoint this has really helped me in many ways do life.
4G or LTE has brought about something we didn't have before which was fast connections and more practical help in my day-to-day life. Obviously David did not have cell phones in his time.
But David still gives us 4G's in our Psalm 145 text today.
I believe that as you and I connect to the 4G network that David has provided for the followers of God you will find your connection with God to be different.
I personally want to have a greater connection with God in my daily life.
You and I must make the following 4G Connections to have a deeper connection with our God.
What are the 4G's of our relationship with God?
Drawing upon James E Smith book a commentary on psalms; The four GS of God in Psalm 145 is God's goodness, God's greatness, God's glory, and God's grace.
