What does it mean to you and I that God has called us to His eternal glory in Christ?
Here's where our phone analogy is taking shape.
God is calling us, God is the caller.
We are the called, we are the ones that God is calling.
how am I as a person being called by God to receive the call from God? You need a phone!
Not only is God calling us, but He is calling us with a specific outcome: to His eternal glory in Christ.
Transitioning now to Romans 4 it is worthy to note no less than 10 times is the word faith used throughout this chapter.
I submit to you that in order for you and I to receive the calling from God we must have a “phone”.
this “phone” is faith.
Faith is how you and I can receive the calling from God to His eternal glory in Christ.
