We all have excuses for something we have done, about to do, or will not do.
Everyone has made an excuse for something.
Paul says something interesting about excuses in Romans chapter one and Romans chapter two. Read Romans 1: 20 Paul is very definitively telling us that God in His invisible attributes or qualities has been clearly seen since the creation of the world.
Paul specifically says God's eternal power and God's divine nature are clearly seen in the creation around us
Paul is holding our feet to the fire of reality that we are without excuse when we do not have a relationship with God.
What does a life look like that wants to make excuses for not having a relationship with our Heavenly Father?
As we wrap up chapter one Paul gives us a graphic illustration of those lives who refused to have a relationship with God.
Again, the premise is that when you do not have a relationship with our Heavenly Father it's because you are making an excuse.
People who make excuses or justify their lack of relationship with our Heavenly Father have specific traits marking their life.
Let's evaluate those traits together and see how these traits can be avoided in our life.
From these traits you will be able to see where you need to repent from making excuses or justifications for your lack of relationship with our Heavenly Father.
