Passage: Job 1:1-22

Speaker: jeff blaine

This week has been one of those weeks in which I have felt completely helpless, useless, and seemingly without any ability to work in multiple tough situations except cry.
I have seen more crying eyes this week than I have in a long time and I have found this world can be very troublesome.
I need someone that can professionally help me on this journey called life.
All of us would do well to admit we have no ability, no talent, or power to make life certain. All of us need a life professional.
That life professional is Jesus Christ.
Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me… I am the way and the truth and the life. John 14:1,6
We must come to realization that we have certain uncertainty without Jesus.
Much like the car of the woman in the story...useless with no keys, God sends an unlikely hero to rescue her in a time of need
Today, as our lives are parked in church all of us need or will need someone to rescue us from the uncertainty of life
Today we are privileged to talk to an old friend about the uncertainty of life.
This old friend will teach us today how to travel this painful life with potholes of grief and despair that could easily knock our faith out of alignment.
Listen to Job teach us how to trust God when it might seem easier to blame Him.
