Children

Welcome!

Our goal is to help our children become true disciples of Jesus Christ by:

  • Building relationships with them

  • Being examples for them

  • Teaching them God’s Word.


AGE-GROUPS

  • NURSERY/TODDLERS  MOMS ARE ASKED TO WATCH THEIR OWN CHILDREN AT THIS TIME IN THE NURSERY AREA

  • PRESCHOOL - 5TH GRADE SEVERAL AGE GROUPS MEET TOGETHER DUE TO THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS ATTENDING; EACH CHILD WILL BE PLACED IN A GROUP MOST AGE APPROPRIATE FOR THEM. 

SAFETY

  • ALL TEACHERS & VOLUNTEERS ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT TO A THOROUGH BACKGROUND CHECK.

  • NO CHILD SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE SANCTUARY/WORSHIP AREA UNSUPERVISED; ALL PARENTS ARE ASKED TO ACCOMPANY THEIR CHILDREN.

  • CHILDREN WILL BE RELEASED TO THEIR PARENTS BY SCC VOLUNTEERS FROM THE CHILDREN'S AREA

 

Start children off on the way they should go and even when they are old they will not turn from it.  Proverbs 22:6

We pray that parents see what an important role they have in shaping their child's faith.  That they will see the opportunities at home and at church to teach children the relationship that Jesus wants to have with them.  It is such a blessing to see a child's faith and love for Jesus grow.  We pray that parents know that what they do now has such an impact on the legacy of their family for generations to come.  Amen
