It’s a topic not easily discussed among some but others seem to bring it up almost daily
Death seems to be one of those topics we avoid or embrace
Yet, as a Christian we are told in scripture not to be afraid of death
Being fearful of death is the antithesis to believing in Jesus
Because God’s children are human beings—made of flesh and blood—the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could He die, and only by dying could He break the power of the devil, who had the power of death. Only in this way could He set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying
Hebrews 1:14-15
Jesus came to live on the earth, in part, to set us free from the fear of death.
What are the practical ways for us as Christians not to fear dying?
