What is your posture before God?

Posture begets attitude…how your posture is before God in the presence of God is a reflection of your attitude before God.

Think about this for a moment: what is the posture of your heart as you contemplate and consider being in the presence of God?

There is a fascinating verse in Genesis 17: 3

Abraham is on his face before God; not only is Abraham on his face before God but who is the only one doing the talking?

How is it that Abraham would find the need to be on his face before God and choose not to say anything?

Faith & obedience. Faith & obedience is what allows Abraham to be on his face before God and say nothing as God speaks.

We would do well to follow Abraham’s faith & obedience today and every day.
