Love is a choice…yes, there are emotions often associated with love.
Love is a choice…an active, conscious decision to love is something each of us can do no matter what any person has done or not done.
 
How is it that love is a choice?
 
Because in the scriptures God commands us to love
‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment.
Matthew 22:37-38
The commandment to love is based on our choice to be obedient in loving God & others
